About the Society
A member-owned multi-State agro co-operative
NEMSICS is a multi-State co-operative society registered under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002, with its head office at NEMSICS Bhawan, Jorhat, Assam. It is owned by its members and governed by a Board of Directors elected by the General Body under the Act and the Society’s bye-laws.
Area of operation: nine states — Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and West Bengal (Bye-law 2).

Membership is by written application under the bye-laws and takes effect only when the Board of Directors admits the applicant.
- Equity Shareholder: ₹1,025
Equity share subscription: ₹1,025 (minimum 10 shares). Additional shares at ₹100 each. - Nominal Shareholder: ₹300
₹100 + ₹200 admin charges.
Shares are not a deposit or an investment product and carry no assured return. KYC files are sent by email to the head office and not stored on the website.
